The Association is very active on behalf of its members, and it shows. Here are some member comments we have received in the past:

After you alerted Verizon to the life insurance benefits issue I received a response from Verizon and closure to my satisfaction within 24 hours. “OK everybody…I know times are hard for some but we have a dynamic team (Bell Tel Retirees Assoc.) working for us…watching our backs…we need them more than ever now with all of us management and non-management losing a lot our retirement benefits, benefits we worked so hard to get being loyal employees of all the bell companies. We made the company the success it is today and they are taking our hard earned benefits away one by one. I am not begging but we need to support this association more than we have in the past…it is crucial that they have the funds available to fight for us for without them we have no one…please send in whatever you can to the association so they can continue their fight for us.” — H.C.-K.
