Dear Association Members:
The board members of the Association of BellTel Retirees and their staff send out their prayers to all being affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Our office is located in Cold Spring Harbor, NY (which is located on the north shore of Long Island). While we fared much better than most, we did lose power, which prevented us from responding to your calls and emails. Our power has been restored as of yesterday, but there is still a lot of damage in the area, which might cause some delays in our mailings to our members.
We will continue to send you updates via email and our office will make all attempts to answer your calls as promptly as possible.
As Americans (and telephone retirees), we don’t know the meaning of the words GIVE UP. We have faced a lot of devastation in this country over the years and we always rise to the occasion, rebuild and move forward. We are sure to do this again in spite of the pain we feel at the moment.
Again our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are affected by the storm.
Sincerely,
C. William Jones
President and Executive Director
Association of BellTel Retirees Inc.
