Annual Member Meetings

In the past the Association of BellTel Retirees has hosted our Annual Member Meetings all over the country. In recent years, due to the pandemic we have shifted to a virtual member meeting. You can view these meetings on our YouTube page, or down below.

2024 Member Meeting

For 2024, your Association of BellTel Retirees’ Annual Member Meeting will be held livestreamed on both the Association’s YouTube and FaceBook pages on April 16 at 10 a.m. Eastern  Standard Time.

Be sure to tune in and use either platform’s chat box feature to ask any questions you may have for our speakers. We want to hear from you, our members!

2023 Member Meeting

The Bear Mountain Inn, high above New York’s Hudson River, served as the setting for our Association of BellTel Retirees’ 2023 Annual Member Meeting, together with the Retirees for Justice Retiree Roundtable Summit.

Hundreds participated both in person and online from across the nation. Engaging and informative panels addressed topics ranging from pension de-risking to insurance protections for retirees who have lost theirs. Speakers also spotlighted workplace health and safety issues from our working years that still having lingering impacts on retirees’ health to this very day.

2022 Member Meeting

Your Association of BellTel Retirees hosted our 2022 Annual Member Meeting held in Long Island, New York on October 19, with fantastic turn out, both in person and virtually!

Engaging panel discussions occurred on a number of topics relevant to today’s retiree, and how your Association is dedicated to the protection of your benefits and pensions, and the current and future beneficiaries of the original Bell System companies.

2021 Member Meeting

For the second year in a row, your Association decided to host our 2021 Association of BellTel Retirees Annual Member Meeting entirely online. To ensure the continued safety and health of all of our members across the United States, we chose to broadcast the annual meeting live on YouTube and Facebook on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.

Thanks to the thousands of retirees from 13 different states who participated in this year’s meeting. Such a wonderful turnout demonstrates why our Association’s advocacy work is so needed, and why we remain so strong.

2020 Annual Member Meeting

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, your Association was forced to make the decision to move its annual members meeting to a completely online format. The 2020 Annual Member Meeting of the Association of BellTel Retirees was broadcast via YouTube and Facebook on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020. The original meeting was due to be held on Long Island, NY.

Thank you to the thousands of viewers who tuned into this event from the comfort of home. The event helped prove, that no matter what obstacles your Association is facing, there is nothing that will stop us from meeting with you, and helping to secure all of our retirement plans.
