The Association of BellTel Retirees and Retirees for Justice Inc. are united in asking for your support to prevent hard-earned pensions from turning into funding vehicles for private equity and alternative asset managers located offshore or in jurisdictions that do not require proper financial accounting.

Recent reporting by Bloomberg, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal have exposed a number of insurers that have taken pension funds and used those funds to buy sports teams and hide billions of dollars in transactions with related companies that share common ownership.

Insurance company failures are on the rise. Meanwhile, hundreds of billions in retiree pensions have been offloaded to life and annuity companies that engage in financial shenanigans that put your retirement security at risk. Retirees deserve better.
